GRAPHIC 45 PAPER TREE TUTORIAL:

Here is a paper tree tutorial using graphic 45 beautiful papers step by step and an overview. Lets begin!

Here are some completed tree projects:

Heres the base cone and paper collection I will be using. For the smaller cone here I will use the 8x8" paper pad. (If you choose not to use Graphic 45, the paper must be double sided paper)

Next pick out at least 5 patterns you would like to use!

2 of the 5 designs will be cut to 3.5 inches once and the rest will be cut out at 3 inches twice! ( so you will have one of each of the larger two sized cuts and two of each of the three smaller sized cuts) { should have a total of 8 strips }

Next cut slits all along paper leaving at least 3/4 of an inch to an inch of space left at the top! ( thiner slits work best for curling)

Then use a large handled paint brush to curl the slits around. Doing this in smaller sections at a time is much easier. Do this to all pieces.

Optional: paint the cone base.

Glue the first two larger slits onto the base. Start the first strip about 2 inches to 2.5 inches from the bottom. Then layer the second larger piece! ( I used hot glue, dried and works the quickest )

Continue this until you finish layering all strips!

Add a topper of your choice and embellish to your likings or leave as is!

Thanks for crafting with me! Hope you enjoyed!
